New Year, New Co-Chairs

L'Shanah Tovah to everyone and their families!  As we start the new year, we would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves as the new co-chairs of the Social Action Committee.  My name is Robin Baer and my co-chair is Gail Vela.  We are so honored and excited to take over this committee!!

We want to thank and are so grateful to the past chair of this committee, Terry Schimek, for all of her dedication and the hard work she has put in over the years.  Terry has done a wonderful job with this committee and all the various projects that were taken on through the years.  Again Mazel Tov to Terry on a job well done!!

As part of our Jewish tradition we are taught to give back to the community by doing Mitzvahs of Tzedakah.  With the projects/events we do through this committee, we accomplish these very important goals.  Please refer to the list of the current projects we will be doing through out the year.

We welcome and encourage new ideas and your involvement!  We want to announce that our kick-off meeting  will be held on Thursday, October 1st  at 7:30pm in the Temple.  We would love to see you there and get your input on other events that we could do throughout the year to help the community.

Again a Sweet New Year to you and your family.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for more additional information.
