Temple Beth Torah Campaign Donations

Kol Nidre 2020

Because of your generous donations to the Kol Nidre Fund TBT is able to offer the wide range of programs and services that are so important to our Temple community. Temple dues, fees and tuition cover only part of our expenses, and so it is the fulfillment of the mitzvah of Tzedakah that makes it possible for us to keep TBT a leader in providing religious, culteral, educational and charitable programming and services across the broad spectrum of our community.

Backpack Drive

Backpack & School Supply Drive (for underprivileged children in our community)
Over the past several years we have collected over 1000 donated backpacks filled with school supplies which have been distributed through the Half Hollow School Districts elementary school.  We are living through a pandemic. But we do not want to let  the children down. We're just going to be flexible!
You can help by sending cash or checks to the temple office. No gift cards please
We are going to order everything on lineFor more information or to help, contact Maxine  Atkins: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Covid -19 Phase ll

We now need your help once more, as people on Long Island are still desperately in need. For the past 30 years, we have partnered with the Gerald Ryan Center on many notable projects, among them the summer camp. This year, the Wyandanch camp has been cancelled due to the pandemic. However, the Gerald Ryan Center has been feeding 2,000 people a month since the Lockdown began. This includes: *The Elderly *Children *The Unemployed and Impoverished *Those who are medically compromised We can make a difference! Our goal is to raise an additional $3,000 to help the Gerald Ryan Center over the span of July, August, and September. Donations both large and small are all very much appreciated!
